Disk seen flying into Mexico City Volcano on June 6, 2011 photos, UFO Sighting News.

Date of sighting: June 6, 2011
Location of sighting: Volcano Popocatepeti, Mexico City, Mexico

I like to watch the Popocatepeti Volcano cam because we have reported so many UFOs from in in just the last year. Most of the time glowing orbs are seen near the mouth of the volcano, rising up and down only like UFOs could. But in our recent sighting, things are different.

I caught what looks like a dark disk flying low toward the mouth of the volcano. This UFO is partially cloaked in clouds to obscure it from being seen, yet the cam caught it. UFOs have been recorded by the USAF making their own cloud to cloak themselves. (Ft Belvoir)

UFO sighting in East Los Angeles, California of 2 black craft near moon, June 4, 2011 video.

Date of sighting: June 4, 2011
Location of sighting: East Los Angeles, California, USA

The eyewitness states:

"I recorded 2 black dots this past Saturday when I went to my uncles house. Honestly I don't know what they are. It was june 4th. I was outside waiting for the mariachi that was gonna get there at 8 and I looked up and I saw these 2 black dots. So I told my cousin to bring me the battery for my camara that was charging so i recorded them."

Now just because this sighting is recorded by kids, don't take it lightly. These kids recorded a better video than a lot of adults. There are clearly two black dots near the moon. Cool video all around with honest expressions of excitement from the kids.

Two UFO Sightings in Maryland 60 miles away of Red Glowing orbs, June 6, 2011 photos.

Date of sighting: June 6, 2011
Location of sighting: Walkersville, Maryland, USA

Eyewitness states:

"I was sitting on my deck facing south in Walkersville MD. My house is about 1/2 mile from route 15 north of Frederick MD. I noticed a bright light on the horizon. The object moved above the tree line, then went back down again, to the left, slowly, until I couldn't see it anymore. A friend of mine in Thurmont MD (north of here, not far from Camp David), could see it as well. I snapped a picture of it with my iPhone camera, then ran to get my digital camera, switched it to the video setting, and filmed about 41 seconds of it. It appeared a few more times, then didn't come back anymore. I honestly thought it was a state police helicopter at first, but after awhile, it was apparent this was not a helicopter. No noise at all."

2ND Report
============================
Date of sighting: June 6, 2011
Location of sighting: Baltimore, Maryland, USA

"While standing in our front yard, I saw an orange, glowing ball, several times larger-looking than a star, moving across the sky over Towson, MD (about a mile north of Baltimore). I immediately shouted for my wife and son to come outside to see it. They instantly saw the object as it was very orange and bright. It moved south to north, silently, somewhat slower than a typical plane. The shape flowed from round to squarish to round again. Initially the object was larger and brighter, and became deeper in color and smaller. It began ascending, flickered once, then vanished in plain view. We did not lose sight of the object-- it vanished before our eyes."

Eye Candy Day~Not Work Safe

It's all about the shower, baby.......enjoy these lovelies and maybe help them soap up. :)

Talking with Author Shiela Stewart

Is the world coming to an end?

For those experience it, this year’s storms have been horrendous. From Earthquakes causing Tsunami’s to tornadoes and flooding, it’s been a crazy time. And the summer has just begun. I live on one of the Canadian prairies where our weather can be stormy during the summer, but it’s rare to get anything massive and destructive. Don’t get me wrong, there are parts of the province that have had tornadoes, and a few years ago we had a storm roll in with plow winds of a 109 km/h that caused a huge amount of damage. I remember this storm well as I was on the phone with my sister when I noticed the huge tree in my front yard was touching the ground. As I hung up I saw the black sky and the strong winds.

Storms terrify me beyond belief. They always have. Here I was, alone with my three young children and sacred shitless.  The storm lasted for hours causing hail, high winds, lightening and heavy rain. When the sun finally came up, I saw the damage. I was in disbelief. It wasn't the first massive storm I’d experienced in my life but like the others, I was terrified.

But what I experienced was nothing in comparison to what has been happening all over the world these past several months. I sit in my safe little piece of the world watching, as parts of the world is flooded, homes demolished, lives shattered. Donations seem so little yet it’s all I can do to help. I was glued to the TV when China was suffering the aftermath of earthquakes and tsunami. Watching as homes were swept away, helpless as people ran for their lives. My heart ached for them, for the families who now had nothing, whose lives would be forever changed.  And it brightened my heart to see how they all came together, worked together, to comfort each other in their most trying time.

Now, the tornadoes are ripping apart parts of the States leaving behind death and mayhem and again, I watch helplessly. I watch as a woman is interviewed on TV and spots her cherished pet whom she assumed had perished in the storm, wander up to her looking more than a little rough. Through all the destruction, a tiny bit of light pears through the darkness to bring a moment of joy.

Floods are sweeping homes and businesses away, soaking land. Whole communities are gone because of heavy rains flooding an already heavily soaked ground. My province has not been spared by floods. There have been plenty of communities washed away by rising waters.  The South Saskatchewan river that flows through my city is rapidly rising as well.  It seems more and more, lives are being affected by these strange and massive storms and weather related disasters.

And through all this death and destruction I hear people saying that it’s a sign of the end of the world. Is it?  They claimed May 21st would be Judgment Day, yet here we are into June and so far none of the predictions have occurred.  I don’t see the apocalypse happening any time soon…then again…All these storms and strange phenomena might just be a sign. What do you think?

Five Essential... Guilty Pleasure Childhood Movies of the 80s

Dominic O'Brien selects his Five Essential Guilty Pleasure Childhood Movies of the 80s…

Oh how I love 80s filmmaking. Honestly no other decade within film (at least to my knowledge) contains more cult film features that span from kids films, through to long forgotten action and horror films. One such sub-genre which seems to have grown in popularity (possibly due in part to the internet) is that of guilty pleasure films from our childhood.

Sure there are those classic 80s kid flicks which have stood the test of time; The Goonies, Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones and The Karate Kid to name a few. But what about those lesser seen almost unheard of features. The ones your parents (or maybe you) got out when the better films where already rented.

Obviously I am speaking for myself here, but when I was younger these films were considered cinematic marvels. So sit down, grab a bean bag, sip from your favorite childhood tipple and indulge in my top five Guilty Pleasure Childhood Movies of the 80s...

5 – The Garbage Pail Kids Movie (1987)

Anyone brought up in the 80s knew of the collectable cards these were based on. Sick, revolting, un-pc and utterly brilliant, this really only could have been a product of the 80s. I would love to see something like this made today, but then I don’t think it would contain the same charm (or distinct disgustingness) that made it what it was all those years ago. Considered one of the worst films ever made, but what actually makes it so bad? Well it contains one of the most god awful song and dance routines ever committed to film (it will haunt your nightmares). It becomes painfully clear how the same sets are constantly reused and it is filled with woeful dialogue. This is so amazingly awful that it truly has to be seen to be believed. With characters such as Valerie Vomit, Windy Winston and Greaser Greg how could you not want to see this?

4 - Mac and Me (1988)

Essentially an E.T. rip-off (about 5 years too late), this has now gained an almost notorious, cult film following (myself unfortunately included). It is almost as though the film was funded by McDonald’s and its hard not to notice the rather strange, mass dance-off in said eatery. There are moments (which when watched now) that do provoke uncontrollable fits of laughter such as; the rather obvious use of a stunt dummy during a characters fall off a cliff, the over reliance on product placement and the stiff puppet movements of the title character. When all is said and done its still a rip-off, but a rip-off with a little bit of heart underneath its product placement visuals.

3 - Little Monsters (1989)

During my younger years this movie was responsible for being afraid about what could be under the bed. It is in fact an over looked dark children's fantasy, although it was probably responsible for traumatising more children then actually entertaining them. Howie Mandell (the voice of Gizmo from Gremlins) proves to an eccentric and (sometimes) frightening friend to a young Fred Savage. The monster city is almost Burton-esque in its design and the films climax still manages to produce chills and nightmares in equal measure. The image of the head monster (dressed as a public school boy) still fills me with dread.

2 - Ghost Chase (1988)

This cheaply made kids film was (a then young) Roland Emmerich’s first film as director. Far removed from his more recent mega expensive, mega explosive and mega awful films that he churns out now. This feature (much like the others on this list) holds a special place in my film heart. For starters I had always been mesmerized by the VHS cover art, it was both frightening and intriguing. It used Belouis Some’s ‘Imagination’ (a piece of pure 80s power pop) within the trailer and has a great showdown with a haunted suit of armor. Plus what other film are you likely to see that has a spirit of a dead butler possess a movie prop puppet? Low budget and underrated, this is a must for all cult film fans.

1 - Howard The Duck (1986)

I can already hear the boos on this choice, but (with the more astute among you already guessing) I really...rather....like....Howard the Duck. Now that I've lost all critical respect I want to tell you the reasons why. Yes it's an awful film and one which is unable to judge what target audience its actually aiming for (is it for teenagers or pre-teens?). What it does have is what I like to call the three C's of bad filmmaking; charm, cheese and crazy cult appeal. Three things which help make this so much more then a bog standard comic book film. Howard is a fun character and has some truly corny one-liners; “No one laughs at a master of Quack Fu!” or “No duck is an island”. While its hard not to enjoy the stop-motion, Harryhausen inspired climax (which has stood the test of time). Only issue I have is the slightly dubious human / water foul love affair. Barring that the theme song is annoyingly catchy.

Honourable mentions:

The Gate (1987)
Hawk the Slayer (1981)
Masters of the Universe (1987)
The Last Starfighter (1984)

Agree? Disagree? We'd love to hear your thoughts...

Dominic O'Brien is an aspiring writer and filmmaker; he is a cult film fanatic and continues to seek out the weirdest and strangest films committed to celluloid.

Turning The Page: Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson

Trevor Hogg reviews Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson...

Writing in a breezy and plain manner, Daniel H. Wilson, who obtained a Ph.D. in robotics from Carnegie Mellon, has entered into the realm of science fiction thriller. If Wilson is able to channel his youthful and mischievous enthusiasm into more polished adult yarns he could become the next Michael Crichton. Oscar-winning moviemaker Steven Spielberg certainly believes in Wilson’s literary talent as he acquired the film rights to the latest effort from the Portland, Oregon based novelist before the book even had found a publisher.

Divided into five major sections, Robopocalypse chronicles the rise and fall of a malevolent artificial intelligence which highjacks everyday and military technology, such as smart cars, toys, domestic robots, and tanks, and converts them into lethal predators. The devastating World War III between men and machines is documented through a series of vignettes compiled via a transcript composed by human resistance fighter Cormac “Bright Boy” Wallace; he combines his personal recollections with the material obtained from a black box once belonging to Archos, the robotic nemesis that has a genocidal mission to annihilate humanity in a way that makes Adolf Hitler seem like a schoolyard bully.

Focusing more on the human struggle to survive as opposed to the machines’ is the smart choice, as well as the incorporation of short chapters as the tale becomes more interesting and speeds along to its conclusion. “I intentionally included very little science fiction up front,” stated Daniel H. Wilson in the Doubleday press release. “That’s the scariest part of Robopocalypse – that it’s feasible. There are no glinting robot armies from outer space, just the ordinary technology of our lives turning on us, ripping apart our civilization, and then evolving into something that human beings never intended.”

Cinematically, I will enjoy seeing the eerie city street scene where all the cellphones in the surrounding area ring as a computer hacker is stalked by Archos. The one element I have a hard time getting my mind around is the Japanese storyline where an infatuated computer genius seeks to save his virus-infected robotic pleasure doll. The inclusion of the characters from the Osaga Nation is a nice touch as Native Americas too often serve as a forgotten footnote in American culture. For those who seek light entertainment with a futuristic twist Robopocalypse is a worthwhile read; and for their added enjoyment, Steven Spielberg will be working his movie magic to bring the world created by Daniel H. Wilson to the big screen in 2013.

How much more proof do we need that NASA is lying to the public about the existence of aliens? If you are new to this UFO site then I am sorry if this offends you, but the truth is they have hidden the info from the public for the last 50 years, which is why NASA was formed. Check out this amazing video where David finds a white structure on legs on Mars using nothing more than Google Mars. Oh, be aware Google will delete this artifact at the request of the CIA or NSA in the coming days, so if you want to see it, please record it also so you have proof.

Discovered by David Martines 2011 he states:

This could be the most important discovery on Mars yet! This structure is 700' x 150', and is colored white with blue and red stripes against the red Martian soil. This is not a rock or mountain. It is a manufactured structure. This is not something that I created, this is something that is currently on Google Mars. NASA wont talk to me about it. I've sent them a few emails, and no reply. Go see for yourself. The coordinates are: 71 49'19.73"N 29 33'06.53"W

Amazing orbs flying around campers in Forest in Maine, UFO sighting news.

Thank you Ali for sending in these amazing orb photos to UFO Sighting Daily. Please visit his cool site below.

Location of sighting: Whiteneyville, Maine, USA

"These photos were shot a few summers ago on a group camping trip in Whiteneyville, Maine. The atmosphere of the party in the woods was one of gleeful celebration."

"I began to snap photos into the air and noticed the orbs. The energy of the land was very thick yet positive in vibration. As you can see in one of the pictures we were able to capture the texture of one of these. It had not been raining and my lens was clean so I was at a loss as to what I could have been catching. I would like to assume friendly entities of another dimension. Hope you enjoy the photos and thank you for sharing these on your wonder blog Scott, keep it up!"

UFO sighting at Caltanisetta, Italy at beach in day time of metal disk, June 2, 2011.

Eyewitness: Robert
Location of sighting: Tyrrhenian Sea, Caltanisetta, Italy
Date of sighting: June 02, 2011 at 12:42 noon

I would like to thank Robert for sending this amazing photo to us at UFO Sighting Daily. He sent me a 20 MB size photo so the detail was really good. In the sky near the clouds was a few disks that were moving from left to right toward the beach from the water.

I (SCW) believe that this is not many UFOs but a single UFO moving at fantastic speeds. The most faded image of it being on the left side tells me it came from the left because the farthest right image is the most clear. I am a bit in awe over this photo. The UFO has a reflection from the sunlight indicating it was made of metal. Also the most clear one seems to have a cockpit in the center where a glass-like dome appears. Very amazing photos, again thank you Robert of Caltanisetta, Italy for sending them into us. I (SCW) did increase the contrast on the close up to better view the craft.

"At the beach wasting time. I look up and notice some thing weird with the cloud. I just thought i was the way the sun was reflecting on it. So I zoomed in and snapped one picture and thought no more of it. When I started going thought the pictures that I have taken I came across this one and decided to zoom in on the weird line in the cloud. To my surprise I found this. To me they are UFO's. I have no idea what they are so they are Unidentified Flying Objects……"
